Nevermore will the bells ring
Their glorious chimes are broken
No longer will my hearing tingle
Whenever the sweet bells rang.
A large crash was heard
A crowd gathered quickly
To see all that was left of the beautiful bell
Was a five shattered pieces of hope.
Whoever did such a horrible thing?
We, said the crowd, shall slay them!
When suddenly a voice came from within
The crowd turned to look on a whim
One tiny young girl, so young and so frail
Stoop up on the top of the stairs
I did it, she said, for our own good
A gasp soon was soon pervading the air
I did it because that we had forgotten,
That the bell was not our creator
Nevermore will the bells ring
Their glorious chimes are broken
No longer will my hearing tingle
Whenever the sweet bells rang.
A large crash was heard
A crowd gathered quickly
To see all that was left of the beautiful bell
Was a five shattered pieces of hope.
Whoever did such a horrible thing?
We, said the crowd, shall slay them!
When suddenly a voice came from within
The crowd turned to look on a whim
One tiny young girl, so young and so frail
Stoop up on the top of the stairs
